Janae Carroll graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She also completed a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with a specialization in Sport Leadership from the University of Kentucky.
After working in sports for a few years, Janae’s passion for mental health led her to completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Janae takes a person-centered approach to partnering with clients, striving to create a safe and inclusive space for clients to go on their journey of self-discovery. Janae uses various therapeutic approaches and techniques, tailored to each client’s specific needs, to cultivate growth. Janae’s goal is to meet her clients where they are and work collaboratively to empower them to determine their values, take accountability in their progress, and meet their goals.

Donnetta Evans graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2008. I obtained a Masters degree in Social Work from Winthrop University in 2014. Donnetta has worked as a case manager, psychiatric technician on an inpatient unit for adults and children, substance abuse counselor intern, and as a foster care social worker where she worked with adolescents and adults. Donnetta is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate in North Carolina.
Donnetta uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with mindfulness and non traditional therapy when needed to meet the needs of her clients. Donnetta’s approach to therapy is to let you be the expert because you know you, better than anyone. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help and I commend you on taking that first step. Over the years, she has worked tirelessly to ensure that the individuals she encounters are supported, loved, and encouraged. Raven had a vision and executed a plan to address mental health challenges via unconventional wellness techniques for individuals who were not open to traditional therapeutic techniques and interventions. Her work is much needed in communities plagued by stigma and limited healthcare resources.
Her unique blend of absolute vulnerability and quirkiness has aided men and women of all ages on the journey to self-discovery and awareness. As one that has been impacted by mental health diagnoses of her own and with a goal is to further shift the narrative and break the stigma, Raven is the perfect combination of friend and therapist.

Damion Harmon has over 13 years in the Mental Health field. Damion has worked with individuals using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in addressing Anxiety, ADHD, Gender Identity, Depression, Personality Disorders. Damion specializes in working with adolescents and adults to promote their social, emotional, and positive well-being as citizens in the community. Damion provides an eclectic and holistic approach to integrated care while understanding various modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in order to promote the importance of physical, emotional, and psychological balance as well as awareness.
Damion has been intensively trained in providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to address moderate to severe mood disorders. However, an eclectic approach is utilized and ensures that the approach is based on the need of the individual or family.
Damion has provided an array of mental health services including family and couples therapy, child and adolescent therapy, individual and group therapy, and substance abuse treatment. Mitchell Peele received his Bachelor's in Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Then he gained his Master's in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, Mitchell has a strong desire to help and advocate on behalf of the underserved mental health population of all ages, at-risk youth with mental health or behavioral issues due to trauma, and individuals who have cognitive delays/intellectual disabilities. While completing his Master’s, Mitchell became a crisis counselor while interning for the global nonprofit Crisis Text Line. Mitchell has been and remains a spokesperson for individuals who may not understand and know their rights and has a passion for aiding and assisting individuals seeking to make a difference in their lives.
Mitchell believes that having a positive and trusting professional relationship with clients and being able to relate on a cultural level will contribute to success in therapy. Mitchell is particularly skilled at family therapy, utilizing modalities like narrative and strategic therapy to help each family member gain insight into each other's perspectives.
Mitchell believes in being proactive and engaged in community events and regularly volunteers as a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity INC, which coordinates with outreach programs and other nonprofit organizations to help individuals survive and thrive through hardships and unforeseen scenarios.

Jewel Mack is a student intern pursuing her master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. Jewel is a certified Health and Hormonal Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, as well as a life coach.
After starting her own Non-profit, Renewed Mentoring for Girls, Inc., Jewel realized her passion for helping others, especially adolescent girls. Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, she is committed to fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust, respect, and empathy. She believes in the power of collaboration and actively involves clients in their treatment journey, empowering them to discover their strengths and develop effective coping strategies.
Jewel is expected to graduate with her master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling in August 2025. Jewel enjoys exercising, cycling, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
